MOL upgrades service to India
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines on Tuesday said it will launch later this month an independent container shuttle to enhance service between western India, Malaysia and Singapore.
In addition to current NSX service, which employs two containerships, the company’s new shuttle will provide the fastest transit time between the western India port of Nhava Sheva, in a suburb of Mumbai, and Port Kelang-Singapore in the Straits of Malacca. With connections in Singapore to Japan and the strait service (CHS1), this upgrade will also allow MOL to offer the fastest stable service between western India and major ports in Japan.
