MOTOROLA MOVES CELL PHONE DISTRIBUTION CENTER TO TEXAS
Motorola is relocating its North American cell phone distribution facility from Harvard, Ill., to the 15,000-acre AllianceTexas development site near Fort Worth, Texas.
David Pelletier, a spokesman for Hillwood, the developer of AllianceTexas, said that Motorola plans to distribute 20 million cellular handsets per year from its new, 400,000-square-foot center, which will employ 800 workers.
