MSC adds Naples, switches first inbound Australian port

   Mediterranean Shipping Co. has added calls at Naples in Italy to its weekly Europe/Mediterranean/Indian Ocean/Australia/Asia service.

   The Geneva-based company has also made Sydney on the East Coast of Australia the service’s first inbound port of call in the country instead of Fremantle on the West Coast.

   The service uses 13 ships averaging about 2,700 TEUs and has a revised port rotation of: Antwerp, Felixstowe, Le Havre, Valencia, Fos, La Spezia, Naples, Pointe des Galets, Port Louis, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Fremantle, Jakarta, Singapore, Jeddah, La Spezia and back to Antwerp.
