MURPHY APPOINTED CONTRACTS DIRECTOR AT INTERMARINE
Intermarine has appointed Spencer Murphy director of contracts within the company’s legal department.
Murphy was previously with the New Orleans law firm of Phelps Dunbar, L.L.P. as an associate, where he was involved in maritime defense litigation, corporate finance, insurance coverage and construction contracts.
As director of contracts, Spencer will be responsible for charter party agreements, as well as many of the company’s joint venture contracts, banking agreements and cargo claims.
Intermarine, with headquarters in New Orleans, is a specialized provider of ocean transport and inland heavy haul transportation services for breakbulk, project and heavy lift cargoes.
