NACA COMPANIES RESTRUCTURE TARIFFS
The NACA Logistics Group, which comprises non-vessel-operating common carriers Brennan International Transport, Conterm Consolidation Services and Direct Container Line, has restructured its ocean transportation intermediary licenses and tariff filings with the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission.
NACA said the changes were part of an internal restructuring undertaken earlier this year, under full consultation with the FMC.
Essentially, the three licenses formally held by the three NVOs were allowed to lapse with the FMC. The NACA companies continue to have current bonds and tariffs on file with the FMC enabling them to do business as usually, the company said.
