NASSCO announces senior management promotions
The National Steel and Shipbuilding Co. has appointed Janice Grace, a 30-year company veteran, senior vice president for operations.
Grace will be responsible for all production, engineering, materials, master planning and information system activities for the San Diego, Calif.-base shipbuilder.
NASSCO also appointed Jay Carson vice president of engineering, and Steve Clarey to director of marketing, business development and public relations.
NASCCO, a subsidiary of General Dynamics, is building four double-hull tankers for BP Shipping Co. of Alaska and six T-AKE dry cargo/ammunition shops for the U.S. Navy. The shipbuilder’s T-AKE contract contains options for another six ships.
