National Geographic magazine, based in Washington, D.C., has announced a strategic partnership with Novica.com, based in Los Angeles, an e-commerce site specializing in handicrafts and home decor.
National Geographic has bought a 19-percent stake in Novica.com, and will use Novica for logistics and cross-market support.
