NCBFAA PUBLISHES NEW POWER OF ATTORNEY BOOK
The National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America has released a revised guide for broker and forwarder power of attorney.
The book, Using a power of attorney: a practical, legal and regulatory guide for customs brokers and ocean transportation intermediaries, “informs member companies of the importance of the power of attorney in their businesses and to show them how to use it effectively in relationships with their clients, other brokers and the U.S. Customs Service,” the NCBFAA said.
The new version of the guide, compiled by Harvey A. Isaacs, general counsel for the NCBFAA, includes recent changes to power of attorney forms and regulations. For more information or to order a copy, contact the NCBFAA by e-mail (staffa@ncbfaa.org) or at (202) 466-0222
