The service will offer connections to APL services to and from Asia.
APL will launch a weekly service that connects Miami with ports in the Caribbean and Latin America.
The America Central America Caribbean (ACC) service) will commence sailing from the Port of Miami on Aug. 23 with the following rotation: Port of Miami – Rio Haina – Caucedo – Kingston – Belize – Puerto Cortes – Puerto Barrios – Cartagena – Port of Miami.
The ACC service will offer a three-day and five-day transit time from the Port of Miami to the Rio Haina and Caucedo ports in the Dominican Republic, respectively. The ACC service also will make a weekly port stop at Kingston in Jamaica to relay shipments that arrive from the Far East onboard APL’s Asia Columbia Express (ACE) service to the Latin American ports on rotation.
Via the ACC service that will call Cartagena in Colombia, Latin American shippers will be able to access various Asian markets through APL’s Asia-Latin America services from there.
