New Cagema service operating from Miami
CMA-CGM's Cagema service to the Caribbean islands has begun to operate out of the Port of Miami, moving from nearby Port Everglades.
CMA-CGM's vessel the 'Sea Explorer' departed from the Port of Miami Friday in its inaugural sailing from the port. The Cagema service offers weekly service to St. Maarten, St. Lucia, Barbados and Trinidad in the Eastern Caribbean, and also calls Kingston, Jamaica, where feeder services are available to a number of other islands.
The service is operating from the Pomtoc Terminal at Miami, and CMA-CGM is using the stevedore services of Florida Stevedoring Inc. The Cagema service had operated out of the Port of Miami before shifting to Port Everglades a few years ago.
