NEW WORLD ALLIANCE ADDS LE HAVRE TO ATLANTIC SERVICE

   New World Alliance members APL, Hyundai Merchant Marine and MOL are introducing Le Havre as a direct port of call on their weekly northern Europe/U.S. East Coast/Asia APX “pendulum” service.

   The “MOL Thames” will make the first call to Le Havre, Frances largest port, when it arrives this Sunday (March 11).

   The extended APX port rotation is Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Busan, Kobe, Nagoya, Tokyo, Manzanillo (Panama), Charleston, Norfolk, New York, Rotterdam, Felixstowe, Le Havre, New York, Norfolk, Charleston, Manzanillo, Tokyo, Kobe, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung and Busan.

   Maersk Sealand and CMA CGM take space on the transatlantic leg of the APX service.

   According to ComPairData, the global on-line shipping database at http://www.compairdata.com, the New World Alliance now has two weekly calls at Le Havre in the transatlantic trade, as it takes space, along with CMA CGM, on Maersk Sealand’s TA3/TP3 service.
