NEXTLINX CORP. RELEASES IMPORT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
NextLinx Corp., the provider of global trade content and management solutions, said Monday it has launched Import Adapter, a subscription-based and broker oriented import management system.
Import Adapter helps manage compliance responsibilities and address import functionalities with minimum risk, while leveraging a company's enterprise application infrastructure, the Rockville, Md.-based company said.
The system maintains and validates product information to support pre-entry and Customs entry processes, NextLinx said. It also provides purchase order screening, restricted party screening, import licensing including quotas and visas, detailed landed-cost calculations and produces all documentations required for legal and efficient international transactions, the company said.
'Governments have become more security conscious, increasing the need for compliance management solutions,' said Rajiv Uppal, founder, president and chief executive officer of NextLinx. The company's systems 'were developed to help organizations manage their global supply chain and maintain full compliance, lowering the risks and costs associated with inaccuracies.'
