NNR Global Logistics picks Management Dynamics software
NNR Global Logistics, a non-vessel-operating common carrier, has contracted with Management Dynamics Inc., a provider of on-demand logistics contract technology, for software to make pricing more efficient and give customers a faster turnaround time for rate requests.
NNR will use Management Dynamics' Rate Explorer application to improves sales and operating services. 'With nearly 6,000 rate requests received per year, NNR found that a 24-hour response time was no longer acceptable to prospective customers, and did not provide (our) sales organization with enough time to identify the best routing and negotiate the final rate,' NNR said in a statement.
'Rate Explorer eliminates 80 percent or more of the effort involved in preparing a customer quotation, especially the more complex quotes with two or three alternative routings. Now, we can respond in a couple of hours, or sooner,' said Liz Boyles, ocean division manager for NNR Global Logistics USA Inc.
The NVO's Rate Explorer application was implemented and went live within four weeks, NNR said.
