   Shares in Neptune Orient Lines, the parent company of APL, fell by 4.9 percent on the Singapore stock exchange yesterday (Tuesday), following the sudden departure of Flemming Jacobs, the group’s president and chief executive.

   The shares closed at 0.895 Singapore dollars.
