Non-fumigated Unshu orange imports allowed in non-producing states
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service will allow non-fumigated Unshu oranges grown on Japan’s Honshu, Kyushu, and Skikoku, effective April 1.
The agency said these islands are free from citrus canker. However, untreated Unshu oranges are not allowed in citrus growing states.
