NORASIA JOINS ASIA/EUROPE, MIDDLE EAST/EUROPE CONFERENCES
Norasia Container Lines, the Hong Kong-based subsidiary of the Chilean group Compania Sudamericana de Vapores, has joined the Europe Middle East Rate Agreement, and is preparing to join the Far Eastern Freight Conference.
Norasia became a member of the Europe Middle East Rate Agreement on May 1.
The carrier is completing final documentation to join the Asia/Europe trade’s Far Eastern Freight Conference, and is expected to become a member in about a week.
Commenting on its membership of the conferences, Norasia said that it “underlines the company’s commitment to be a part of a select group of liners known for their commitment to service and quality.”
To date, the Hong Kong-based carrier has not joined the transatlantic conferences, nor the transpacific stabilization agreements.
