Norfolk Southern promotes Moorman to president
Norfolk Southern railroad named Charles Moorman president, effective Oct. 1. Moorman, senior vice president corporate planning and services, replaces David Goode, who will retain the positions of chairman and chief executive.
The Norfolk, Va.-based company also promoted six other executives:
* James Hixon, senior vice president legal and government affairs, to vice president finance and public affairs.
* Mark Manion, senior vice president transportation operations, to executive vice president operations.
* Kathryn McQuade, senior vice president finance, to vice president planning and chief information officer.
* John Rathbone, senior vice president administration, to executive vice president administration.
* Donald Seale, senior vice president marketing services, to executive vice president sales and marketing.
* James Squires, vice president law, to senior vice president law.
