North American Airlines to start only direct U.S./Ghana flights
North American Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of World Air Holdings Inc., is starting a weekly non-stop scheduled service from New York to Ghana July 1.
According to North American, the service will be the only direct service to Ghana from the United States.
The service will use a Boeing 767-300ER aircraft and will depart Fridays from John F. Kennedy International Airport at 11 p.m. and arrive in Accra 1:30 p.m. the next day.
North American said the service will start as weekly, but that it is ready to provide additional flights in response to customer demand.
