NRC places Syria on embargo list
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has shifted Syria from its list of restricted destinations to a list of embargoed destinations, effective May 25.
“This means that no nuclear material or equipment can be exported to Syria under a general license,” the NRC said.
