NWA Cargo to lower fuel surcharge
NWA Cargo, the cargo arm of Northwest Airlines, will next month reduce its fuel surcharge for international and domestic shipments due to the continued decline in jet fuel prices.
Effective Nov. 1, NWA Cargo’s surcharge will drop from 55 cents to 50 cents per kilogram for most U.S.-origin international bulk shipments. Domestic bulk freight and VIP surcharges will be reduced from 22 cents to 20 cents per pound.
