NYK SIGNS UP TO BOLERO
NYK Line has signed up as a member of Bolero.net, the electronic communication provider.
London-based Bolero.net provides a secure environment to exchange trade documents over the Internet using digital signatures and encryption.
“They also provide an application for recording and transferring the rights and obligations contained in a Bolero bill of lading, which is equivalent to the paper bill of lading,” NYK said.
NYK said that its membership of Bolero is aimed at complying with increasing customer demand for electronic commerce.
