TACA REAFFIRMS WESTBOUND RATE HIKES, ADDS EASTBOUND RAISE
NeoModal Inc., based in Charlotte, N.C., a provider of Web-based logistics solutions, has been chosen by Ocean World Lines as a source of software to automate contract management and improve cargo tracking.
Ocean World Lines, based in New York, a full-containerload, non-vessel-operating common carrier, has served since mid-2000 as a beta site for testing NeoModal products. Alan Baer, the NVO's president, said it would use NeoModal’s NeoContract solution for contract management, and NeoStatus software for cargo tracking and tracing.
