OFAC wants feedback on licensing procedures to Sudan, Libya, and Iran
The U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control is taking comments regarding the effectiveness of its licensing procedures for implementing the 2000 Trade Sanctions Reform and Export Enhancement Act.
The act covers exports of agricultural commodities, medicine and medical devices to Sudan, Libya and Iran. Under the act, OFAC is required to provide Congress with a biennial report on the operation of licensing procedures for these exports.
