Old Dominion opening Long Beach service center
Bob Foote, vice president of the western region for Thomasville, N.C.-based Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. announced this week the opening of a new service center in Long Beach, Calif.
According to Foote the 47-door Long Beach Service Center will begin operations under the leadership of Bob Pearson, manager of sales and service, who will direct a staff of 72.
'OD continues to expand its service center density to better serve our customers,' Foote said. 'This new service center will enhance our efficiencies and provide a quick response time for our customers in the Long Beach service area.'
The $1.3 billion-a-year Old Dominion operates just over 4,600 tractors in all 50 states, including 100 percent coverage in 40 states.
