OOCL SETS UP RUSSIAN AGENCY COMPANY
Orient Overseas Container Line is setting up a wholly-owned agency company in Russia, OOCL (Russia) Ltd.
Based in St. Petersburg, the agency company will commence operations on July 1. It will also have a Moscow sales office. Nick Popov, general manager with Intransservice Ltd., who has been OOCL’s agent since 1997, will be managing director of the new company.
Two OOCL services call direct at the port of St. Petersburg.
