PATTOFATTO, RINAÆS TECHNICAL DIRECTOR, DIES
Giuliano Pattofatto, technical director of Registro Italiano Navale, the Italian shipping register’s classification society, has died of heart failure.
Well-known worldwide, Pattofatto was a drafter of the revised SOLAS rules and a regular IMO contributor. He was also RINA’s deputy general director.
