Philip Morris executive joins Virginia Port board
The Virginia Port Authority has appointed Marty Barrington, an executive vice president at Philip Morris USA, to its board of commissioners.
Barrington will fulfill the unexpired term of Virginia “Ginny” Murphy, whose term was set to expire June 30, 2009.

As executive vice president of corporate responsibility at Philip Morris, Barrington leads the following departments: compliance and brand integrity, corporate communications, government affairs and the youth smoking prevention and corporate responsibility programs. He also serves as the company's chief compliance officer.
