P&O NEDLLOYD TAKES CANADIAN AGENCY SERVICES IN-HOUSE
P&O Nedlloyd North America, the East Rutherford, N.J.-based ocean carrier, said Friday it will terminate its agency contract with McLean Kennedy in Canada, effective Oct.1, and will then provide agency services in Canada in-house.
“Our decision reflects the growing importance of Canada” in P&O Nedlloyd’s operations “and will reduce overall costs,” a spokesman said. “This in no way reflects on the distinction of the people at McLean Kennedy.”
