P&O Nedlloyd vessel saves 4 fishermen off South Carolina
The “P&O Nedlloyd Palliser,” a 4,100-TEU containership, rescued four fishermen Jan. 10 during a storm off the coast of South Carolina.
After receiving a distress call from the crew of the sinking fishing boat “Warrior IV,” Capt. Martin Goertz of the “Palliser” notified the U.S. Coast Guard of the craft’s position and condition. An hour later, the P&O Nedlloyd vessel took the fishermen on board.
