Port of Portland exports record mineral bulks in March
The port of Portland, Ore. said a record 591,572 tons of mineral bulks were exported through its terminals in March.
Port tenants Portland Bulk Terminals said in March it exported its largest volume of potash, a potassium-based fertilizer, from their facility at the port’s Terminal 5, with exports up 115 percent for the year-to-date over 2004 volumes.
