Port of Seattle elects Edwards as president
The port of Seattle Commission Tuesday elected Bob Edwards president for the coming year.
Edwards was first elected to the commission in 1999 and outlined the key items on his agenda as:
* Re-opening Terminal 25 as a cargo handling facility.
* Beginning reconstruction of Shilshole Bay Marina.
* Opening the new Central Terminal at Sea-Tac airport.
* Moving toward completion of the airport’s Third Runway.
