Port of Tacoma, Howland Hook terminal join security group

   New York-based Howland Hook Container Terminals, the Port of Tacoma in Oregon and International Shipping Agency are joining the “Maritime Security Discussion Agreement,” an agreement of U.S. terminal operators and international shipping lines.

   Members of the group of terminal and ship operators are: APL; COSCO Container Lines; Evergreen Marine Corp.; Hanjin Shipping; Hapag-Lloyd Container Line; “K” Line; A.P. Moller-Maersk Sealand; Mitsui O.S.K. Lines; Nippon Yusen Kaisha Line; Yang Ming Transport Corp.; Zim Israel Navigation Co.; Ceres Terminals, Inc.; Cooper/T. Smith Stevedoring Co. Inc.; Eagle Marine Services Ltd.; Global Terminal & Container Services Inc.; Howland Hook Container Terminal Inc.; Husky Terminal & Stevedoring Inc.; International Shipping Agency; International Transportation Service Inc.; Long Beach Container Terminal Inc.; Maersk Pacific; Maher Terminals Inc.; Marine Terminals Corp.; Maryland Port Administration; Metropolitan Stevedore Co.; P&O Ports North American Inc.; Port of Tacoma; South Carolina State Ports Authority; Stevedoring Services of America Inc.; Trans Bay Container Terminal Inc.; TraPac Terminals; Universal Maritime Service Corp.; and Virginia International Terminals.
