PORT OF VANCOUVER, WASH. COMPLETES TERMINAL RENOVATIONS
The Port of Vancouver, Wash. has finished the $10-million, second stage of its terminal development project.
The port installed 800 feet of new concrete dock, and added ultra high molecular weight coverings to fender pilings at two vessel berths. The work follows an initial $13.8-million phase, which included 600 feet of new dock, 40 acres of paved cargo area, and a new storm water drainage system.
The terminal now has three main docks, an oil dock, an export bulk loader, and grain elevator facilities.
