Portuguese delegation meeting officials
A Portuguese delegation focusing on economic development and trade has scheduled meetings with Miami seaport and airport officials Thursday as part of a statewide tour.
The delegation had scheduled discussions at Miami Dade College with the local officials, as well as representatives from the Transportation Security Administration and the cruise industry.
The 60-member delegation is being led by U.S. Ambassador to Portugal Alfred Hoffman and Portuguese Ambassador the U.S. Pedro Catrino.
The week-long mission, which ends Friday, also includes stops in Orlando, Tampa, Venice, Fort Myers and Palm Beach.
