POUDEROYEN TO HEAD CONTERM’S U.S. DIVISION
Cas Pouderoyen has been appointed president of Conterm Consolidation
Services (USA), a Long Beach, Calif.-based non-vessel-operating common carrier.
He replaces Robert Hackett, who has recently moved to Rotterdam to head up
the European activities of North American Consolidators Association, a shippers’
association consisting of Conterm, Direct Container Line and Brennan International
Transport.
Pouderoyen has more than 20 years of experience in the ocean shipping
business. He has held management positions with Lavino Shipping Co. and Votainer
Consolidation Services. Before joining Conterm, he was vice president of the transatlantic
trade for Orient Overseas Container Line.
In his new role, Pouderoyen will be responsible for developing
Conterm’s North American business.
