PRINCE ANDREW TO ATTEND NEWARK, N.J. TERMINAL OPENING
A spokesman for the Port Newark Container Terminal said Prince Andrew, the Duke of York, will be the guest of honor at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the port's new $175 million redevelopment.
The terminal, on Calcutta Street in Port Newark, N.J., has been refurbished with six new post-Panamax cranes, 54 straddle carriers, new pavement, and a near-dock rail facility.
The ceremony will be held at noon Thursday.
