Prince wins IANA chairmanship
The Intermodal Association of North America has named Theodore Prince, president of Consolidated Chassis Management LLC, as chairman of the organization for the upcoming year.
The board of directors made its selection in conjunction with the association’s annual Intermodal Expo and conference in Atlanta early last week.
Prince, who has served on the board since 2005, replaces Frank Sonzala, executive vice president of Pressure Systems International. Prince recently left Kansas City Southern Railway, where he was vice president of sales and marketing intermodal and international business, after nine months because of a dispute.
Greg Stefflre, chief executive officer of Rail Delivery Services Inc. was elected vice chairman, and Scott Smith, director, logistics services Americas for APL Ltd., was named treasurer. Smith is taking over from Richard Coleman, president of ContainerPort Group Inc., who served as treasurer for the past two years and is leaving the board after six years.
IANA members, who include a wide range of companies and organizations that enable truck-rail transfers, also elected four new members to the board. ' Eric Kulisch
