PSA ADVISES STAFF AGAINST TRAVELING TO SARS AREAS
Singapore-based port operator PSA Corp. has asked its staff to avoid traveling to the areas affected by the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) in Asia.
PSA has issued a “travel advisory” to all its staff, and informed them of precautionary measures, a spokesman for PSA said.
Staff must alert their supervisors immediately “if they are unwell or have been in contact with SARS patients,” a PSA spokesperson said.
PSA operates terminals in Southeast Asia and South China, where the outbreak of SARS has spread.
