PSA, Fuzhou Port Authority start joint-venture towage company
Global port operator PSA and the Fuzhou Port Authority
have established a new joint-venture company, Fuzhou Jiangyin Fuxing Towage Ltd., to provide towage services to shipping lines calling at the Chinese port of Jiangyin.
The new company is expected to start operations in March, initially using two modern harbor tugs, with more to be added as further vessels use the port. The move represents PSA’s first towage service at a port in China, according to a statement by PSA.
