RCL ADDS HONG KONG/CAMBODIA/THAILAND LINK
Intra-Asian carrier Regional Container Lines has commenced a Hong Kong/Cambodia/Thailand service.
The “RHC” service uses two 6,500-ton vessels, with a rotation of Hong Kong; Sihanoukville, Cambodia; and Songkla, Thailand. The carrier said the Cambodia regional service will also offer a transshipment link for North Asia via Hong Kong.
In conjunction with the launch of RHC service, Regional Container Lines will restructure the port rotation of its Bangkok-Hong Kong-Vietnam service. The new routing is Hong Kong; Shanghai; Xiamen, China; Hong Kong; Tan Cang, Vietnam; Laem Chabang; and Bangkok, Thailand.
The carrier handles feedering for main line operators and operates services for regional cargoes.
