Rickmers-Linie’s new managing director

   Rickmers-Linie, part of Hamburg, Germany’s Rickmers Group, has promoted Ulrich Ulrichs to managing director.
   Ulrichs joined Rickmers-Linie in 2005 when he took over responsibility for line management. In 2008 he became director of this division before being appointed deputy managing director in August 2011.

Located in the Washington, D.C. area, Chris Gillis primarily reports on regulatory and legislative topics that impact cross-border trade. He joined American Shipper in 1994, shortly after graduating from Mount St. Mary’s College in Emmitsburg, Md., with a degree in international business and economics.
