RISEBOROUGH NAMED HEAD OF FEFC CONFERENCE
Rod Riseborough, the managing director of Safmarine U.K. Ltd., has been named chief executive of the Far Eastern Freight and Allied Conferences, effective Nov. 19.
Riseborough brings to the post a range of shipping experience, including having been chief executive of the Southern Africa Europe Container Service in London.
The Far Eastern Freight Conference is one of the largest liner conferences in the world. The company that manages the big Asia/Europe rate-setting agreement also runs other rate-setting conferences involved in European trades.
