ROADWAY OPENS NEW TERMINAL IN BLOOMINGTON, CALIF.
Roadway Express Inc. has opened a new terminal in Bloomington, Calif. to replace and consolidate the work of three facilities in California. The new center, which replaces sites in Fontana, San Bernardino and Ontario, is staffed with 200 employees.
Roadway assigned 72 tractors and 180 trailers to the terminal, which has 178 loading doors.
“We are moving into an improved facility which will allow us to grow our business and give our customers a more competitive advantage,” said John Sypek, Roadway district manager.
Roadway Express is the principal subsidiary of Roadway Corp., a transportation holding company.
