Royal P&O Nedlloyd names Robbie CFO
Royal P&O Nedlloyd, the Dutch company that now fully owns P&O Nedlloyd Container Line, will appoint David Robbie as its chief financial officer and a member of its board.
Robbie was CFO of CMG, a publicly listed company, until January 2003.
Royal P&O Nedlloyd itself became a public company Friday after the buyout of 50-percent stake in P&O Nedlloyd from the Peninsular & Oriental Steam Navigation group and the restructuring of Royal Nedlloyd N.V.
Royal P&O Nedlloyd will propose the appointment of Robbie at its annual general meeting May 6.
The appointment of a CFO completes the formation of Royal P&O Nedlloyd’s senior management team.
From May, the full P&O Nedlloyd executive management team will comprise Philip Green as chief executive officer; Robbie as CFO; Rutger van Slobbe in charge of trades and logistics; Paul Windfield in charge of sales; Nigel Pusey in charge of regions; Jacob Tas in human resources and development; Tara Basi in charge of business systems; and Peter Duifhuizen in charge of assets.
