Ryder names two new executives
Miami, Fla.-based Ryder System, Inc., has named two executives to fill slots in the company’s Dedicated Contract Carriage and Transportation Management product lines.
Rosario Rizzo has been appointed as senior vice president & general manager of Dedicated Contract Carriage. Rizzo joins Ryder from APL Logistics, where he was vice president of the Americas Logistics & Global Contract Logistics. Previous roles include vice president of Operations & Logistics for Unisource/Georgia Pacific Corp, and various leadership positions in logistics & supply chain management at Compaq Computer Corp and Pepsi-Cola Co.
Todd Carter has been appointed vice president & general manager of Global Transportation Management. Carter joins Ryder from Celanese Chemicals, where he served as global supply chain director. Prior to that, he has held various positions with logistics and supply chain management companies including APL Logistics, GATX Logistics and JB Hunt.
