Ryder recognized for transport technology
Miami-based Ryder System Inc. said Tuesday it has been ranked 25th in technological innovation and second in the transportation by InformationWeek.
The rankings were unveiled by the information technology trade publication at its InformationWeek 500 conference in Tucson, Ariz.
'Ryder is pleased to be recognized by InformationWeek for the ninth consecutive year for our leadership and innovation providing technology solutions for the transportation and supply chain industries,' said Kevin Bott, Ryder's senior vice president and chief information officer. 'I am proud of our IT team around the world. Their dedication and commitment to driving process improvements and value throughout our customers' supply chains has contributed to our ranking.'
