Saddle Creek implementing ISO 9001
The Lakeland, Fla.-based third-party logistics company Saddle Creek Corp. said Tuesday that it has begun implementing the ISO 9001:2000 certification process in a demonstration of its commitment to quality service levels.
“ISO certification is the natural next step from our current internal quality program. By identifying processes that can be improved and finding ways to prevent errors, it will help us deliver even better service to our customers – everything from increased inventory control to improved on-time delivery rates,' said Saddle Creek ISO facilitator Brandi Metz.
Saddle Creek will work with Total Quality Management Systems, Inc. (TQMS), employing the company’s Continuous Improvement Software (CIS), training, and documentation for a “paperless” quality management system.
