Saddle Creek promotes DelBovo, Cook

   Saddle Creek Corp., a privately held distribution services company based in Lakeland, Fla., has appointed two of its executives to more senior positions.

   Michael DelBovo, formerly vice president of marketing and business development, is now senior vice president and general manager of Saddle Creek Transportation    Inc., a subsidiary of Saddle Creek Corp. DelBovo was general conference chair for the 2004 annual conference of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, formerly the Council of Logistics Management.

   Stephen Cook has been appointed vice president of marking and business development. He was director of sales and marketing.

   The company also named Greg Payne director of sales and marketing. Payne was director of business development for Watkins Fleet Services, part of Watkins Associated Industries.
