San Diego port picks security vendor
Tetra Tech, a Pasadena, Calif.-based harbor consulting firm, will conduct a threat and vulnerability assessment and coordinate the implementation of a security plan for the Port of San Diego, the company said.
A top priority will be the expansion of communications and information management capabilities that can connect to military and law enforcement systems.
Ports are under a federal mandate to review their security systems and develop procedures to close any loopholes.
