SBS WORLDWIDE AND CARGO U.K. IN PARTNERSHIP
British ocean and air freight forwarder SBS Worldwide Ltd. and Atlanta-based forwarder Cargo U.K. Inc. have announced an exclusive partnership agreement to handle their U.K./U.S. traffic.
SBS Worldwide said that it concluded the agreement with Cargo U.K. “during an important period in the Atlantic trade market.”
“Westbound cargo volumes and freight rates have been rising since the beginning of the year, putting great pressure on forwarders to perform,” a spokesman for the forwarder said.
SBS Worldwide has recently opened offices in Boston and Chicago.
